What’s the surest way to be a few steps ahead of your opponent? Is it speed? Is it a good strategy? What is it?

Bruce Lee once said, “You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.”

When you are flexible. When you adapt to the environment, the situation, and the circumstances, you become ONE with that thing.

You are no longer fighting against the flow of it. You are not resisting. You are going with the flow and using its own power to direct at it.

In life, sometimes we struggle with something. We try to force a cube into a circle and it doesn’t fit. Perhaps if we are more flexible and think of other ways to get there, we might fit perfectly.

What are some things in your life that you can be more flexible with?
